The Coin de Mire excursion with our speedboat will take you to the northern coast of Mauritius. Aboard the Predator Cruiser, you’ll be comfortably seated and have the chance to see all the coastal villages pass before your eyes.
We leave Grand Baie just a few meters from the coral reef, taking in La Cuvette, Casita, Pereybere, Pointe d’Azur, Bain Boeuf and Cap Malheureux, before setting course for Coin de Mire.

With the Predator Cruiser, you can reach the island in just 35 minutes, giving you precious time to explore this island gem. Depending on the season, and if you’re lucky, you may come across whales and dolphins in their natural habitat during this crossing, offering a unique spectacle.

Le Coin de Mire, also known as ‘Gunner’s Quoin Island’ in English, is an island located 8 kilometers off the north coast of Mauritius. This famous nature reserve is home to a colony of ‘Paille en Queue’ birds and endemic reptiles. With its 162-metre-high cliff, Coin de Mire has a very commanding view compared to Île Plate and Îlot Gabriel.
Impossible to moor there, Coin de Mire remains famous for its seabed, a little corner of paradise with the ‘Confetti Baie’, a must for snorkeling enthusiasts.

Our crew will give you instructions for safe snorkeling and provide you with the necessary equipment (mask, fins and snorkels).
